History
Roulette originated in France, indeed the term ‘roulette’ literally means ‘little wheel’ in French. The first appearance of the game was as early as the 17th Century and gradually developed into something like what you’d recognise in a casino today by around 1795, when it was being play regularly in Paris. There have been different interpretations of the rules from country to country and developments in the game (not least the introduction of playing online) that have made roulette the most popular of casino games for over 200 years!

Online Roulette
The first online casinos emerged in the mid nineties and despite the relatively limited game selection back then, the first online casinos all found a place for roulette (along with blackjack and slots). Best Roulette Payouts
It’s important to look at pay out rates of all the casino games you play, as these will give you a great indication of your likelihood of winning at that particular game. For example, it’s much better to play a game that has a 99% payout rate than one that has a payout of 93%. Differing version of roulette have differing payout rates – for example – it’s much better for you to play European Roulette rather than American Roulette – the payout are much higher.
